Radha Krishna
Mandir Vision
Every few years, we all like to make some renovations to the house we live in. Ever since its birth in 1978, our temple has never really gone through any major renovation. Therefore it was long overdue to provide a custom home for our Lord, who has been providing us with everything. Also, with the growing Indian community, our temple needed more space to accommodate more devotees.
And so the idea to build a Mandir of our Dreams, a new custom-home for our Radha Krishna bhagwan, was planted several years ago. After jumping through several hoops and negotiating several hurdles, finally our dream is seeing the light of the day.
We will be completing our dream project in two phases:
FIRST PHASE: The neighboring building which we called Sneh Kunj (the old Pizza Hut building next to Denny’s restaurant) has been demolished and we are building an all-new, single-story Banquet Room/Dining Hall of over 2,200 square feet. It will also house a big kitchen of over 400 square feet. Once this is complete, the deities will be temporarily moved to this building. Devotees can thus continue to worship God at all times and can continue to have their darshan.
SECOND PHASE: Upon completion of the first phase, we will commence rebuilding the present Mandir building. It will be completely re-done with a Prayer Room of over 3,000 square feet. It will also have meditation rooms, office space, a priest lounge, and a 560-square-foot altar.
Once complete, we will redo the Pran-Prathista of all the deities back in their original places. The new Mandir will also have the sthapna of Shreenathji, a big Shiv Ling that can be worshipped directly by devotees, Shirdi Saibaba, and Jalarambapa. This Mandir will also house a deity of Khodiar Maa for the first time in the United States.
Both the buildings will have solar panels and will be easily accessible internally, with no dividing walls in-between. The estimated time for completion for the entire project is between twelve to fifteen months.

Support the Mandir,
Serve the Divine
